About Jean Clean


The owner,  Jeanine Girello, launched Jean Clean in May 2014 when she fell in love with the idea of using eco-friendly products for cleaning.  Having a daughter and a dog of her own, it was important to keep the house clean without using harsh chemicals. Her detailed cleaning focus is on dusting, vacuuming allergens and pet hair. When she’s not at work, Jeanine enjoys sewing and costuming.

Jean Clean takes pride in their work and service.  If you are not happy with your visit, please call the office within 24 hours of service and we would be happy to re-clean at no additional charge.  The cleaning technicians must be allowed to come back into the home within the next 2 business days.

Cleaning Supplies:

Our team is well equipped with all the tools and products needed to thoroughly clean your home. The products we use are toxic-free and safe for your environment. If you prefer to supply your own cleaning products or solvents, we are not responsible for any damage associated with that product or solvent. Our team does have a right to refuse service if they are not comfortable using your products due to harsh chemicals.

Damage or Breakage:

 

Our team provides reasonable care when cleaning your home.  We do carry insurance for damage or breakage caused by our cleaning technicians.  We are not liable for damage that is caused by “normal wear and tear,” or improper installation of an item in your home.
  • Carpet & Rug Snags: Carpet snags are the result of “exposed loops” caused by normal wear and tear, moving furniture, etc. which are snagged by a vacuum’s roller‐brush.  We provide premium Miele vacuums for our clients.  These vacuums are set to industry standards in order to limit snags while still providing a high-quality service.  If you request our cleaning technicians to use your vacuum, we will not assume or accept any liability for damage to the unit.
  • Blinds:  Customers should be aware that there are some inherent risks each time your blinds are cleaned. If our technicians notice any broken blinds, we will report damage during our visit. We will not be held responsible for any previously broken blinds, cords, or items related to the unit.
  • Improperly hung pictures/decorations/mirrors/fixtures:  If these items are securely/properly attached to the wall, they should not fall when the item is dusted/wiped.

Security Alarms:

 

Jean Clean is not responsible for any charges from a local police department which is called out due to an activated alarm which we are not able to turn off.

 

Fee for Reschedule, Cancellation or Lock‐Out with less than a 48‐hour notice:

 

We are happy to work with customers to reschedule and cancel services providing it follows our service agreement. Our 48 hour policy is strictly enforced.

 

Additional Fee (for additional time needed to clean your home):

 

When purchasing our house cleaning package, you are purchasing reliable, well‐ trained, high quality service.  There may be an occasion where our team may need more time to complete the specific cleaning program you purchased or any additional requests.  A few examples include:
  • The condition of your home is different than what you represented when we established your Estimate.
  • Excessive dirt/dust/stains resulting from remodeling/construction, post‐party cleanup, etc.
  • If a particular cleaning requires more than the allotted time to finish due to the situations above, we will notify our customers during the visit.
